It’s a holistic approach that recognises the interconnectedness of various aspects of one’s life and emphasises the importance of self-care and self-awareness.
The Global Wellness Institute (GWI) defines wellness as “the active pursuit of activities, choices, and lifestyles that lead to a state of holistic health.” This definition emphasises the proactive nature of wellness, highlighting that it involves intentional actions and decisions aimed at achieving overall well-being across different dimensions of health.
